Ep.42 - Mugabe, Black Tennis & Common

On Ep.42 of "What's Good?" - Robert Mugabe & Leadership, why are there only a couple US Black Male Tennis players? How a South African Mercenary group tried to spread HIV/AIDS. And I went to see Top 5 All-Time artist, Common.
In a week where:
  1. Nicki Minaj retires from music.
  2. Caster Semenya joins a South African football club after refusing to abide by IAAF's rules.
  3. Australia wins The Ashes with one Test remaining.
  4. A man was shot in broad daylight in London Borough of Lewisham.
  5. Parliament has been prorogued AGAIN & Speaker John Bercow intends to step down by Oct 31st or sooner.
  6. Apple reveals its iPhone 11, Apple TV+ amongst others.
  7. The Archbishop of Canterbury goes to India & apologises for the Amritsar Massacre.
In the 1st of two Life segments: (10:28) The death of Robert Mugabe has been met with measured critiques on his leadership of Zimbabwe. He's done some good, but A LOT of bad and it begs a question on leadership and how people can skew the definition.

In Sports: (23:57) The US has three generations of black female Tennis players at the moment and they're all shining. But where are the black men in Tennis? The answer lies in two things. Grassroots investment & the wealth of options that male athletes have in America compared to women.

In the 2nd Life segment: (36:31) There are always conspiracies about how virus outbreaks happen. Even why we haven't got cures for some. But here's a story about a South African mercenary group actively tried to spread HIV/AIDS in black communities.

And in Music: (50:56) I went to o2 Shepherd's Bush Empire to see one of my favourite artists of All-Time, Common.
