Ep.176 - Sinn Féin & African Trade

On Ep.176 of WG: Sinn Féin's landmark win, Africa makes a deal, a Civil Servant wins a case, and rappers shilling for fast food spots.
In a week where:
  1. The UK Local Elections goes down.
  2. Chelsea is sold to American based consortium, led by Todd Boehly.
  3. Ncuti Gatwa will be the next Doctor Who.
  4. The TV BAFTAs come & go.
  5. Sir Kier Starmer pledges to resign as Labour leader if he is fined for breaking COVID rules.
In Politics: (8:43) Northern Ireland's premier Nationalist party Sinn Féin gains the most seats in Stormont, the first time it's ever happened. But with the UK Government responding with apathy, will creating a united Ireland be the next move?

In Africa: (20:13) A trade deal has been locked in for the continent of Africa. A major step of economic progress which makes me look domestically and asking once again "How 'The Exit' going again?"

In Society: (30:35) A civil servant has reached a six-figure settlement with the Ministry of Justice, but that's only the official result. Below the surface, there's a lot to talk about.

Lastly, in Music: (40:39) Even if you're a casual in the current mainstream Hip-Hop landscape, you're aware of several US artists putting on for fast food orgs. But is it all working?
