Ep.177 - Ads, Michelle Yeoh & Walking

On Ep.177 of WG: Streaming with ads, a particular song off Kendrick Lamar's new album, Michelle Yeoh and the joy of walking.
In a week where:
  1. Ukraine wins Eurovision as The UK come 2nd.
  2. Finland & Sweden formally confirm intentions to join NATO.
  3. A new Margaret Thatcher statue is egged within hours of it being installed.
  4. 17-year-old Blackpool player Jake Daniels comes out, the first footballer to do so in 30 years.
  5. A Tory MP is arrested on suspicion of rape.
In Streaming: (7:29) Adverts are the bane of my existence. And now that Netflix are mulling over bringing ads to their platform, I suddenly don't want Netflix anymore!

In Music: (20:21) Kendrick Lamar's new album "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers" has given one of the most interesting discourses in mainstream music. And one song in particular, evokes a problem that has persisted in Hip-Hop and society in general for a long time.

In Film: (32:11) I'm going to see "Everything Everywhere All At Once" on Friday, so why not gass up the lead of the film, the Queen that is Michelle Yeoh.

Lastly, in Life: (47:44) If you know me, you know I walk everywhere. There's many reasons I prefer walking more than most, but an underrated reason pertains to exploration and actively taking note of your surroundings.
