Ep.178 - Black Propaganda, Pop Culture & 'Like'

On Ep.178 of WG: 'Black Propaganda', Pop Culture is becoming mush, the word 'like' & your creative purpose.
In a week where:
  1. Vangelis, composer of Chariots of Fire and Blade Runner soundtracks, dies aged 79.
  2. Cases of Monkeypox appear in the UK.
  3. Australia's Labor Party wins the Federal Elections.
  4. The UK’s first national civil rights organisation for Black people has been launched.
  5. The Sue Gray Report is finally released.
In History: (6:41) Britain has a history of fucking up the world and never apologising for it. Well, here are some examples of Britain participating in the information war.

In Gaming: (23:47) Warner Bros/Discovery are getting into the multi-IP fighting game space with "Multiversus". But when you add The Iron Giant from the film of the same name, into a fighting game, it's hard to think they're putting care into it.

In Life: (36:24) The word 'like' is a word often used by me and many others people and to some people is seen as being lazy with speech. Which, at this point, is coming across as classist rhetoric.

Lastly, in Art: (55:31) Whether you do Photography, write, music, video, painting. If you do something creative, it's very easy to fall out of love and ask why you're even doing it. It's something that all creative people fight with.
