- "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" passes $1B at global box office.
- Writers Guild of America members go on strike after failing to reach new compensation deal with TV and film producers.
- Labour is set to abandon its promise to scrap university tuition fees in England.
In Politics: (9:32) As if we needed any more confirmation that we're being led by a demonic Tory Party, Rishi Sunak decided it was a good time to dap up the freshest face in fascism, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni.
In Tech: (23:14) As if we needed any more confirmation that AI is growing a little too fast, the man labelled "Godfather of AI" decided to quit Google and fire off warning shots about the future of AI.
In Music: (34:00) Something that is constantly on my mind is the lack of female music producers. The share is reportedly a dismal 5%. So why is there such an extreme lack of female representation in the music production space?
Lastly, in TV: (45:55) The life of Tupac Shakur has been told ad nauseaum, even people that don't listen to him know who he is. But one wrinkle of his life that hasn't been covered (as much) is his relationship with his mother Afeni. A new doc hopes to add another wrinkle to the book of Pac.
