Ep.227 - Timbaland, Writers Strike & Tiredness Of Life
In a week where:
- The English Local Elections goes down.
- Napoli win Serie A for the first time in 33 years.
- The WHO declare COVID-19 no longer a global health emergency.
- Coronation happened.
- A federal jury in a civil trial found Donald Trump liable for sexual abuse.
In Politics: (7:10) Depending on who you are, the Coronation that went down this past weekend was either a nice event full of pageantry, parties & entertainment... Or it was a flashpoint in the many ills of Britain today, including a concentrated assault on free speech.
In Music: (23:53) Just when the conversation about AI in Hip-Hop was just beginning, there goes Timbaland immediately showing his ass, gassing up a track he made with AI vocals of The Notorious B.I.G. Nightmare fuel already being spilt and we're just getting started.
In Film/TV: (31:42) The Writers Strike in the US is in full swing. Nobody knows how long it'll go but numbers are already showing that it'll cost Hollywood $2 Billion with it set to rise the longer it goes.
Lastly, in Life: (49:00) There's never been an segment that deserves to be filed under "life" like this one, because we're talking about general tiredness about life which is apparently a phenomenon the entire western world is facing.
