Ep.230 - Recycling, Bad Poetry & Chronotypes

In a week where:
  1. Tina Turner dies aged 83.
  2. Ron DeSantis confirms he's running for US Presidency.
  3. Erdoğan wins the Presidential runoff.
  4. Chipmaker Nvidia cracks $1 Trillion in market value.
  5. A large scale drone attack hits Moscow.
In Environment: (8:11) Every day I throw something into the pink recycling bag or some form of recycling bin, thinking that the more that goes into that pink bag, the better. But as it turns out, recycling plastic is doing more harm than we realise.

In the 1st of two Art segments: (19:18) The disparities between men and women in many forms of art are very easy to see, and the disparities get worse when women are asked to dim down their work.

In the 2nd Art segment: (32:39) Poetry, maybe the most accessible art form. Anyone can create poetry. But with low bars, come low-quality and BOY are there some crap poetry out there these days.

Lastly, in Life: (45:17) "Why are you up so late?" is a question I'm asked a lot. I sleep through mornings and work into the night. I've never been a morning person and as it turns out, I will probably never be!
