If you know me, you know I love substantive conversation. So when I was given the opportunity to read a book and talk to the author of said book, I jumped at the chance.

I talk to Dr. Hajar Yazdiha, Professor of Sociology at University of Southern California and author of "The Struggle For The People's King: How Politics Transforms the Memory of the Civil Rights Movement". We talk her beginnings, radicalisation; the many levels of societal memory and how King gets distorted; and a Top 5 that she'll definitely want to change once she reads this.
